About Jumu'ah

Jumu'ah (Friday Prayer) is the congregational prayer performed every Friday in place of the regular Dhuhr (midday) prayer. It is obligatory for adult Muslim men and consists of a Khutbah (sermon) delivered by the Imam followed by two units of prayer.

Many mosques offer multiple Jumu'ah slots to accommodate larger congregations. The time listed is the start of the Khutbah; the Salah (prayer) typically begins a few minutes after the sermon concludes.
